AW Bridal is a U.S. based online store specialised in designing bridal, occasion and event attire. The label kindly sent me this custom made version of their ‘Hawthorn’ dress, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result and fit.

 

At the end of the day we all want to look nice, but finding affordable and reasonably priced tailor-made clothing that’s actually flattering can be really tricky. Fortunately, AW Bridal offers all its customers the opportunity to customise their gowns of choice for free. Those keen to shop their wedding and bridesmaid dresses at AW Bridal are also able to order dozens of swatches in a range of fabrics too.

While what I’m wearing may not be for everyone, the label have come out with an original set of versatile designs, many of which I feel look totally different to what you’d expect a group of bridesmaids to don. This is precisely why all the dresses in the label’s bridesmaid range can easily step in for event or evening dresses too.

 

The stretch fabric of this particular number makes for an evening of both style and comfort, with a heavy emphasis on the style as I was genuinely stopped in the street by more chic French people than I can recollect on this evening to ask who I’m wearing (and I know that nobody believes anyone who says that, especially not in a collaborative post, but believe me!)

 

You can find the dress that I’m wearing on the AW Bridal website. Customisation is currently free with your dress of choice, hurrah, so you could actually turn the piece into a micro-mini with 12 pockets if that’s your cup of tea.

I've styled the dress with black Dune London heels and Swarovski pieces.

 

Unfortunately, few pieces in the label’s current collection appear to be made from sustainable or environmentally-friendly fabrics. Having said that, AW Bridal is adding an increasing number of satin charmeuse pieces into it’s online store, silk of which is considered a more sustainable fibre and renewable resource according to the Council of Fashion Designers of America.
